The Tube Council’s Web Site, www.tube.org, has been revamped and moved to a new hosting company to better serve Council members and the packaging community as a whole. With a powerful search engine in place, the web site allows users to quickly find tube manufacturers, search industry specific tubes and choose tube suppliers and services. Site also includes Tube Council history, information about tubes and their advantages as a vital packaging entity. Other new site elements include a Tube Council events calendar and Tube Council news. Tube of the Year competition information is also available, with winner highlights and next year’s Tube of the Year competition rules and submission guidelines. “With the new Tube Council web site, we will be able to deliver timely information in a quicker, more efficient manner,” said Patrick Farrey, Tube Council executive director. “The new site will also allow us to be more responsive to changes, and will give us more flexibility in publishing a variety of information.
