Tube Council (NA) Announces the Winner of its 2025 Scholarship Program
The Tube Council (NA) is proud to announce the winner of its prestigious Scholarship Program, recognizing outstanding achievements and innovations in tube packaging design and technology.
For more than 70 years, the Tube Council has served as an open forum for member squeeze tube manufacturing companies, its supply base, customers, end users, and educators to discuss and act on industry-related topics and initiatives.
2025 saw outstanding applications from 11 high school students across North America. All entries were evaluated by a panel of judges including professors from two university packaging programs.
After rigorous evaluation and consideration of entries, our esteemed panel of judges has selected Sierra Hester, a Senior at Heritage High School in Lynchburg, VA. Sierra will graduate in June with a 3.91 GPA. She has been accepted into North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University to study business, with a concentration in law. Jermaine Hester, Sierra’s father, is employed by EPL-Danville.

Julie Rice-Suggs, PhD, Academic Director at The Packaging School, and a member of the judging panel, lauded Sierra’s “great resume, and community activities! [She] wrote a really cohesive essay that explained how her future in global policies and human rights can help aid in environmental protections.”
Kayla’s win was announced at the Council’s Membership Awards dinner on May 6th.
The Tube Council thanks all Scholarship applicants for their submissions, and congratulates them for their outstanding achievements. We are excited to see the future of this space with talent like this.
